Some flavours stay with us, even as we move from place to place.

Originally from Aveiro, Paulo Leite found a home for his cooking in the Azores. Along the way, encounters, lessons and memories became part of his story, now returning to the table at À TERRA Ponta Delgada.

The Chef’s Journey was born from this path: three dinners in which the executive chef of Octant Ponta Delgada welcomes chefs he has worked with, bringing together the places that shaped his story and the produce of the archipelago.

For the second gathering of this edition, Paulo Leite returns to a chapter that helped shape his approach to cooking. A commitment to technical precision, respect for ingredients and attention to every detail came to the fore through his time learning alongside Chef Ricardo Costa.

Chef Ricardo Costa brings the culinary approach he has developed at The Yeatman’s gastronomic restaurant in Vila Nova de Gaia. Chef Paulo Leite welcomes him with the produce and flavours of the Azores, in a dialogue between their shared professional history and the paths each has followed since.
